Pure Exfoliating Shampoo - For Buildup Removal, Fresh Roots & Lighter Hair

Description

A thorough, fragrance-free cleanse for hair and scalp that feel coated, greasy or weighed down. Less is More Pure Exfoliating Shampoo combines bamboo charcoal and white clay with effective cleansing agents to lift accumulated styling residue, excess oil and everyday impurities.

Use it periodically alongside your regular shampoo to restore a clean, refreshed scalp feel and softer, more manageable hair.

Why your hair will love it

  • Targeted buildup removal. The cleansing blend helps wash away residues that leave hair looking dull or feeling heavy, especially after repeated use of styling products.
  • Bamboo charcoal for a deeper clean. Made from Moso bamboo, this porous material helps adsorb oil and impurities, complementing the shampoo’s cleansing action.
  • White clay for fresher roots. Kaolin absorbs excess sebum and helps lift surface impurities, giving fine hair a lighter, fuller feel.
  • Moisture alongside cleansing. Organic aloe vera juice, glycerin and inulin help maintain softness, while lactobacillus ferment adds conditioning care.
  • Plant protein for manageability. Hydrolysed pea protein helps bind moisture and smooth the feel of stressed strands.
  • No perfume or essential oils. A focused option for those who prefer fragrance-free hair care.

Suggested use

Massage a small amount into wet hair and scalp using gentle fingertip movements, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

Use approximately every fifth wash, or when buildup becomes noticeable. Adjust to your scalp’s comfort and follow with conditioner through the lengths and ends.

Less Is More

Less is More begins where the Alps meet the lab. For co-founder Dr. Doris Brandhuber, nature isn’t a metaphor, it’s the design brief. Guided by biomimicry, we keep what works in the wild and leave out what doesn’t: essential, high-performance formulas that are COSMOS ORGANIC, microplastic-free, and packed in 100% recycled PET. As a Certified B Corp (since 2017), we pair science, cosmetology, and aromatherapy to create care that’s kind to hair and skin, and to soil, water, and biodiversity.
