Quality Markers

You deserve food you can trust and trace. That’s why OLVLimits third-party lab-test every batch and share the results with you.

Polyphenols - 370.7 mg/kg (HPLC)

Natural antioxidants that help protect the oil (and your body) from oxidative stress. A typical extra virgin olive oil averages ~180 mg/kg; at 370.7 mg/kg, Green Queen is rich in polyphenols while prioritising bold, rounded flavour. That’s roughly ~5 mg polyphenols per 1 Tbsp (≈13.5 g).

Acidity - 0.11%

Lower acidity signals healthy fruit and careful milling (extra virgin must be <0.8%). 0.11% is excellent, clean fruit, clean flavour.

Peroxides - 4.8 meq/kg

A freshness marker of early oxidation (extra virgin should be <20). 4.8 indicates very low oxidation and a longer, brighter shelf life.

Oleic acid - 77.48%

A heart-smart monounsaturated fat that improves stability and mouthfeel. Many oils sit near ~67%; 77.48% adds both resilience and a silky texture.

What this means for you

  • Real antioxidant support. Rich polyphenols contribute to everyday oxidative balance, flavour with function.
  • Freshness you can taste. Ultra-low acidity + low peroxides = a clean, vibrant profile.
  • Creamy, satisfying finish. High oleic acid brings a luxurious feel and better stability in your kitchen.

How to use Green Queen (flavour bomb mode)

  • Finish, don’t hide. Drizzle generously over salads, ripe tomatoes, grilled veg, grains, soups, or pasta just before serving.
  • Dress smart. Whisk into vinaigrettes and dips to showcase its rounded, pepper-kissed profile.
  • Cook with care. Fine for medium-heat sautés, then finish with a fresh splash to preserve aroma and polyphenols.
  • Morning spoon (optional). If you enjoy it neat, take 1 Tbsp for ~5 mg polyphenols and a flavour-first start.

Green Queen vs. Green Machine (quick guide)

  • Green Machine: ultra-high phenolics for a max wellness boost.
  • Green Queen: still polyphenol-rich, but tuned for maximum flavour, your go-to finishing oil for everyday dishes.

OlvLimits

OlvLimits is a love affair with nature, with living soils, seasonal light, and the quiet intelligence of the olive tree. It is about bottling olive oil the right way: fresh, single-source, and lab-tested. Too many bottles on supermarket shelves are old, blended, or flat; studies on “extra virgin” have found that up to 48% don’t meet the grade and about 90% are low in health-supporting polyphenols.

Sil & Roos, founders of OlvLimits, are not mad at the industry, just disappointed, so they decided to do it better. Every release comes from the latest harvest, never a blend, and is verified by independent labs for quality markers and antioxidant levels. Real farmers, real relationships, really good olive oil, fresh, traceable, and honest from grove to glass.
