Crafted from organically grown grapes sourced from Alsace and the South of France, this liberated white wine brings together a rare and expressive blend: Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Sylvaner, Viognier, and Sauvignon. Each variety contributes its own nuance, creating a wine that is vibrant, aromatic, and texturally complete. Aged for 12 months, it achieves a beautiful harmony between freshness and depth.

The nose opens with fresh fruit, lemon, citrus, and subtle spice, characteristic of its northern terroir. On the palate, a lively acidity meets a gentle roundness, offering both tension and balance. The vineyards benefit from long, dry summers, cool alpine nights, and soils that range from granite and limestone to clay and sand. These varied conditions allow grapes to ripen slowly, maintaining freshness while developing aromatic definition and texture. Alsace’s identity reflects both French and German influences – seen in its architecture, food culture, and winemaking traditions. Medieval villages, timbered houses, and historic cellars speak to a long viticultural history, while the wines are known for their clarity, structure, and expressive character. This mixture of climate, geology, and cultural heritage shapes the aromatic profile and precision of Presence.

The Making of Presence

Presence is made by working with seven organically grown grape varieties, using low-intervention methods from vineyard to cellar. Limestone and clay soils contribute to its aromatic depth and balanced structure. The grapes are farmed and vinified using low-intervention, organic methods. After gentle pressing, the wines ferment naturally in stainless steel and are aged for twelve months to build texture and composure. Once the blend has developed its intended profile, a low-temperature aroma-preserving method is used to remove the alcohol, maintaining clarity, balance, and finesse. The approach focuses on preserving the structure and expression of a still white wine while adapting it for dealcoholization.
